Christmas is a little early this year.
I am one happy momma this holiday season, cuz I already have all my presents already....

Now we don't even have to leave the playroom to hear, "A TREE, A TREE!"
Gianna already loves the Christmas decorations and shrieks, "A tree, A TREE.." when she sees a Christmas tree at the mall, the store, etc. Enjoying the joy in her voice, and the sparkle in her eye as she points to each one she sees, is a GIFT.
My sweet man is not traveling, and works from home so we see Daddy lots each day, and that is a GIFT. He traveled 3 out of 4 weeks of October. We miss him terribly when he is gone...
Aria is healthy. She has not had another ear infection, and the allergy medicine change seems to be working. I am so thankful for health for all of us. I don't take it for granted and it is a GIFT.
Ryan has a wonderful heart for giving of himself and is devoted to sharing his faith with college kids around the world through Campus Crusade for Christ. He is using his musical talents to minister. Being used is a GIFT to us and to others.
And my most recent gift is that Justin realized that there is no place like home. Instead of moving to another apartment complex, he moved home last weekend. He realized that he was missing so much of the girls lives. Having all my children living in my house is a HUGE GIFT! I know we are winding down on the time in our life where we will have that quality time with the boys. I savor and treasure each memory we make as a family of six.
And since I am feeling so festive, and since Gianna really loves trees, well, ummmm, we broke every family rule and started the decorations a little early (okay waaayyyy early)
Now we don't even have to leave the playroom to hear, "A TREE, A TREE!"
You are blessed!
ReplyDeleteLove the holiday decorations! (smile)
Only two precious little girls could make the "rules" about Christmas decorations change. Now lets see if you really can take them down on 12/26 as usual. They are truly wonderful and could not have landed in a more God centered home. Truly inspired by our Lord.
ReplyDeleteSee you soon - Grandma!
