Twinny Twins turn FIVE!

My sweet baby twins had the AUDACITY to grow older. Sniff. I have been begging them not to for quite some time.

All of Celia's teachers and therapists surprised her by all coming over together! She was squealing and more excited than I expected. These wonderful ladies worked their entire school schedule around coming over on their birthday. How precious are they?!?
It was like Christmas morning. For real. Feather boas, purses stuffed with goodies, birthday hats and games, and the list goes on and on...... They even brought gifts for the big sisters.
Did I mention they are really special ladies?
Celia's favorite thing was a audio book that each teacher/therapist recorded her voice on a page. On the last page, they all read it in unison. And yet again, these ladies had to work their schedules around meeting to say the last page together.
After the teachers left, we went to feed ducks. I'm not sure why but my girls all think feeding hungry ducks on their birthday is a treat.
We then headed to the park. This too is a birthday tradition. It's hard to help Celia have fun and watch 3 other girls, so unless we have another set of hands, we usually don't make it to the park.

What birthday is complete without a Birthday Cake Pop?!?
Even Celia got a little taste which I think she really liked, don't you?!?
My VERY favorite of the whole day- Celia is driving with her toes on one side, and Sofia is driving on the other side.
I could just gobble them up!

This birthday was really hard for me. In fact, I hadn't really told many people just how hard.
Although we don't know just how many birthdays these precious twins will have together, we do know that TODAY we have them both, and I tried to focus on the JOY in that.

And just because this is THE CUTEST THING EVER, I thought I'd blow it up really big so you could see it again.  Happy Birthday my precious baby girls!! Enjoy being 5 years old because you are hereby forbidden to EVER, EVER turn 6.
Kidding.
(except I'm not)
