And then we tried to get them clean......

Greg usually gives the girls their nightly bath. They have fun splashing and playing with Daddy, and I get a much needed nightly break to finish up a few things at the day's end.

Last night, I hear Aria SCREAMING, " GET ME OUT, GET ME OUT!!!!"

Then Greg semi-frantically yells, "Honey, could you please GET UP HERE NOW????"

I race up the stairs, wishing that I didn't know the reason for the commotion. But I know all too well unfortunately......

As I enter the bathroom, Gianna is saying sternly,"No-No", Aria is crying, and Daddy is well, ummmm.....

Scooping out what I'd like to call a "poopcident" out of the tub.

And, I wish I could say that this is the first time Gianna has done this.

Or even the second.

Or maybe the third.

But the *real* truth is, she has quite a notorious reputation 'round these parts, of being the Tubby Pooper.

Believe me when I tell you that I have had TWO BOYS and have NEVER seen the likes of Miss Gianna's little bum in a bathtub of warm water!

So, Dad removes the offending "objects" and grabs the bleach, while I wisk the girls to my bathroom to re-bathe them in there. It's sorta becoming part of our nightly routine.

Aria, who may need therapy for this in the future, begs me the whole way to my bathroom NOT to make her get in my tub with Gianna.

I mean can you really blame the girl? Sisterly love does have it's limits.

After bathing Gianna and passing her off to Daddy, I head back to my bathroom to re-bathe Aria.

Aria very seriously, and a tad concerned says:" Mommy, Gianna is a very poopy girl!"

To which I start laughing, and THEN she says, very gravely:

"Mommy when I take a bath, I always have to watch out for the poop!"

AND the sad truth is, with Gianna as her sister, she's right, she does!!!!

The bath in happier times.......
