Whatta Weekend!
We had a fabulous, wonderful weekend!
On Friday. we went to dinner with our dear friends Michael and Kim and I FINALLY got to kiss on their son Sheridan! They have only been home from China for 3 weeks, and Sheridan is doing wonderfully. We had a lovely dinner with them! Parenthood becomes them as they are glowing with pride in their handsome son- and who could blame them!
We then went to a monthly adoption meeting that was the last one at the Chapman's home. We have not been in a year, but it was great to see old friends- we missed you RJ and Kelly! We also got to see some new babies and meet some wonderful parents-to-be! The adoption community is wonderfully supportive and it is exciting to see what God is doing! First Friday's will now be meeting at a church and will focus more on worship during the wait!
Sheridan was the highlight of the show as he made his debut to the group! Did I mention his sweet, kissable cheeks???
On Saturday, we went to Grandpa and Grandma's house in Savannah and the girls got spoiled by the grandparents and Aunt Amy! Gianna was dedicated in a very special ceremony by her Grandfather(who is a Pastor) and although we don't go to their church(obviously, as Savannah is a little hike) the church family had prayed for us during our trip and were all so thrilled to see Miss Gianna in person! It was a wonderful and emotional time for us all.....
Here are a few photos.....
Sweet Morning snuggles with my Big brother.
For 21 years, Grandma has been making Mickey Waffles for the Grandkids, and this visit was no exception! And you are never too old for Mickey Waffles!!!
PEACE OUT.......(Perhaps this photo was staged by one brother who, ahem, forgot dress pants? Not naming any names ofcourse!)
