Bet your weekend was better than mine!

How did you spend your weekend? I am betting it was better than mine!

Our plan for Saturday was to go to soccer, watch Aria get her medal for completing the class, and paint stripes in the dining room.

Sounds simple enough, right?

Instead, as we headed to soccer, I had chest pains that were radiating up to my neck. Not so great of a start to my day.

As we pulled in to the soccer field, we realized that we better head to the ER, and a VEERRRY long story short, I was admitted to the hospital for the weekend. Oh joy!

All the times I have longed for a quiet room all to myself, and I got one (be careful what you wish for, right?)

With a very nice view of a brick wall.
More like a prison ward.
With torture every few hours of the day and night in the form of tests and needle sticks.
Horrible food.
Ugly Pj's
Bad service- I hate to say most of the nurses weren't very friendly.
No toiletries. ( I am sorry I ever took toothpaste, deodorant and facewash for granted.)
And my worst nightmare come true- GERMS!!! And not just any germs, HOSPITAL GERMS!

And then, this afternoon they send me off on my merry way, telling me they are pretty sure my ticker is still ticking, and it could be various other non-life threatening issues- see your regular Dr. blah, blah, blah....

All, I can say is:

There's no place like home!
