Sunday with Grandpa and Grandma..

We had a great visit with Greg's parents who are leaving for two years to live overseas.
Gianna has to drink 2 Pedisures daily- and she HATES them. Grandpa became her entertainment while she was slowly slurping down her stuff.

Since blowing bubbles is great respiratory therapy, Grandma helped encourage Gianna to blow as many bubbles as she could. Everything is more fun with Grandma helping!

Now at day 16, she is sitting up more and more, she can walk around pretty quickly (with supervision ofcourse) and she only needs meds once or twice every 24 hours. We are thankful every day for the progress we have seen. We are also so thankful that she shows no signs of infection. The Dr. said we won't be totally out of the woods for a chance of infection until about a month post-op. We are continuing to pray that she heals well..

And I'll leave you with a cameo blog appearance from Laura. She is my sons "friend". We LOVE Laura. Alot. Aria Loves Laura. Gianna adores her.... She's a keeper.  Nuff said.

  3. So happy to see her doing well. Isnt the affect that grandparents have on grandbabies amazing?! My parents and my boys are the same. Grandpa can get the boys to do anything he wants no questions asked....why dont mums have that power?
