Thankfulness.
~I am thankful for my God who has forgiven my sin, draws me to Himself, and who sacrificed His son for my sin. Who am I to deserve death but be saved through His unmerited favor?
~I am thankful for my hardworking husband. He has had 3 jobs this year, and the Lord has graciously taught us many things through each one. He now has a (fairly) stable job and as long as we don't have to move, it is perfect! He is a rock in the storms of life and protects me from a lot of the drama.
~I am thankful for my oldest son. God has grown him this past year through adversity, and who he is today is a much wiser man. He is happy and he has a very sweet girl in his life that we love. What more could a mom ask for?
~I am thankful for my second son and the heart he has for missions. He is an inspiration to me to give more. He is planning to minor in Chinese to further his ministry opportunities. He is a sweet boy!
~I am thankful for a gentle, shy girl named Aria Dawn, who wakes up singing every morning and who has been a joy to homeschool this year. Her sweet spirit blesses me daily.
~I am thankful for our little hero Gianna. She had two surgeries this year, and today at breakfast she said, "Mommy, I miss the hospital and Dr. Samdani." She is not phased at all from the pain she has to endure. She inspires me to think beyond myself.
~For family, and for dear friends who walk this road of life with us and encourage us every step of the way. How we could have made it through this roller coaster year without that love and support? I really don't know.
May we all stop to remember, even in difficult times, how richly blessed we are!
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!
Happy Thanksgiving!

A long list of reasons to be thankful and we join with you in giving thanks for each of them, But, we will add one more: We are thankful for you, the devoted mom and wife who takes the time to extol the virtues of others, who takes the time to keep the blog meticulously up to date, and who provides the warm, loving Christian home we know well and who does a thousand things that we also know about and million other things that no one but The Lord knows anything about. We are thankful for you!
ReplyDeleteWe thank The Lord for His watchcare over our entire family throughout the year and look forward to what He is going to do next. We love you!
