She's FOUR!! (part 1)

Gianna has never really had a REAL birthday party. She turned one in China, her second birthday was cancelled due to tornadoes, and we were checking in to the hotel last year on her birthday, the night before being admitted to the hospital for major surgery. She was DUE a fun party this year.

We let her chose her party, and she wanted to go back to her beloved dance studio for a princess ballet party. Great choice!

Every birthday princess needs her beauty sleep.
This was our first attempt at curlers and they turned out so cute-even
before we actually took the out!

She's dressed and ready for her party! Does she look a little like Betty Boop?
To my utter joy, my sweet, squishy baby let me squeeze her like crazy.
And recited Genesis 1:1 thirty five times because I asked her to.

Surprise! Gianna picked Cinderella as her favorite princess. (again)
She is a loyal fan!
Aria and her cousin Aspen opted for the oh-so-modest Ariel.
Makes a mom proud. Or scared. Mostly the latter.
Betty Boop loved her princess ring.
When in doubt, Sit...Look Adorable...and Suck your thumb.
I think she wants me to squeeze her again.
Tattoos for the pary girls!
Look at all those beautiful fairies and princesses!
Only one brother was able to come to the party due to work issues. But he brought his girlfriend and her sis all the way from Virginia! Since he will be moving in a few weeks to VA, we are glad to have these last few memories with him. Sniff.
We headed out for pizza after the party with all our friends. Someone liked the cupcakes :)

All this fun, and it's just the beginning! Her birthday is tomorrow, so the FUN continues!!

  6. Hello. :) I saw your question on the RQ forum about background clearances for VA. Here is the site you need:

    https://apps.vsp.virginia.gov/ncjis/publicformrequest.do?methodToCall=loadRequestForm&formName=SP167

It took us about 3 weeks from the time we sent off our request until we got our clearance. Sorry to post on your blog, but I don't have an account set up through RQ...I'm just a lurker. :) And by the way, you're girls are gorgeous!!!
