Busy, Busy.

~Went to VA for 3 days..... BY MYSELF. {GASP!}

~Celebrated a beautiful life with my two best friends, and came back to her house to sip tea one more time.
We will miss you Mrs. H.

~Saw one of my dearest friends for coffee- entirely too short but at least I got to see her.

~Stayed with my mom and step-dad for a night and got to chat without interruption. Until 1 AM.
(Never gonna happen again. I have 4 little chatter boxes that LOVE to talk and bed time around here for ALL of us is earlier than most children I know.)

~Saw my 103 year old Aunt. She is AMAZING. She told me stories of when she was a 4 yr old little girl. It was a precious time with her, just sitting there holding her hand and hearing her reminisce about her childhood.

~Stayed with MY SON!!! We had a wonderful time together and he spoiled me by taking me out for a belated Mother's Day to my favorite restaurant ever. And shopping. And gelato. And a movie. And Starbucks.
Yes, I'm spoiled.
Best. Time. Ever.

~Saw my favorite brother (and only) and his family, and got to see his amazing coaching talents as well as try croissant french toast. YUM! And did I brag mention that my nephew scored the two goals I asked him for? Yup, that's my boy!

~Sat at an airport BY MYSELF and actually read a book.
{GASP AGAIN!}
IS this even allowed?!?!?

~Came home totally recharged and ready to be mauled by a passel of girls.
(I was.)
Celia surprised me the most with her JOY in seeing me. She is such a Daddy's girl I was afraid she wouldn't notice I was gone.

~Had flowers and a special dinner waiting for me made by the most amazing man, who, not only held the fort down with FOUR GIRLS, he did their hair. Yup, no baseball hats were used.
Could I love him more?
I think not.

~Jumped right back into the laundry, girls, schooling, therapies, doctor visits,grocery shopping, cooking,housework, wedding planning..... exciting life I lead.
And was recharged.
Dare I say, patient even.
Think everything they say and do is the CUTEST THING EVER.
Happy to be talked to until my ears burn.
Cleaned up spills, messes, tears, and dinner with a skip in my step.

Ahhhh, home sweet home.

(So Honey, when did you say I can do that again?? You know, just for planning purposes and all. HA!)
