The Brother Factor

We have this phenomenon in our house that when there is an explosion of *pink* in our house, one of the brother's will step in and add a little *blue* into the equation.

Case in point: Aria had this sweet baby doll, all dressed in a cute purple outfit. I left for a few minutes during the naming process, and her brother helped her with the name. Knowing full well that once Aria decides on a name, she WILL NOT CHANGE IT! Our purple baby's name is now...

... Ernie.

And forever more shall be.

Yup, A little blue in our pink world.

So I shoulda know that for Gianna's birthday, I should NEVER have given Justin the job of naming Aria's bear.

"Shoes"

Aria where is "Shoes"? , Go get your shoes -See the potential for confusion?

I want her to put her shoes on and she brings me a bear!!!!! ACK!

And because we were waaayyyy too involved with the birthday girl, I didn't notice the outfit they picked for Shoes until it was too late.

Gianna was happy as a clam with this adorable spring outfit:
Until she saw her sister eyeing these outfits ( with a little prompting, I am sure)And now, the sweet little Ducky in a dress, has now become THIS:At least I stopped him before he named the Duck "Socks" LOL!

  1. For the record, which you seem to have altered mom, Aria picked "Shoes". I tried to get her to change it. I will take the complete blame for the soccer outfit. Cute post tho. I will be home later today!

  2. Y'all have way too much fun over there in Happily Ever After world. And you crack us all up in the process! Love it! Leave it to the boys to bring the blue or black or sweat or any kind of competition...What would we do without 'em?
    Love you-
