The sick and the stubborn..
Aria is sick.
Again.
Ofcourse she is, because we have a date night with other couples planned for tonight to see Fireproof.
I took her to the Dr. yesterday afternoon and thankfully her ears are clear, and he thinks she has a virus. Her fever hasn't wanted to come down below 103, so she had a rough night.
Sigh...
In other news:
Gianna welcomed 2 1/2 with a vengeance!
Her favorite phrases this week have been:
"NO!"
"I DO IT MYSELF!"
"I DON'T WANT TO."
And my personal favorite..
"I DON'T HAVE TO!"
After a week's worth of training and discipline, I am still not sure she understands that she DOES HAVE TO.
Double sigh...
This should be a fun weekend with a sick, cranky 4 year old and a sassy, controlling 2 1/2 year old and two sleep deprived parents who gave up caffeine 3 months ago....
Praying for you, but WHAT?!?!
ReplyDeleteYOU GAVE UP CAFFEINE?!
Praying double for you this weekend!
Well you are not alone......I have a 3 year old who has bossy syndrome and a yucky cold and cough and a 2 years old in the midst of tantrum time and is cutting molars!
ReplyDeleteOh the joys of parenting toddlers!
Its a good job they are all so cute, I'm sure God made them that way so that we cant get too mad at them!
Remember this too shall pass.......cant wait!
Hang tough mama!! I hope Aria feels better soon and if you find the cure for the controlling two year old let me know. Vivi is hot on Gianna's tale in that dept.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry that Aria is feeling yucky!! I feel your pain with dealing with a cranky two year old!! Hope all is better soon!
ReplyDeleteHave a better week and Happy Halloween!!
I'm so sorry that you have a sick child. I so hate it when one of mine are sick. I sure hope Aria feels better soon.
ReplyDeleteAs far as Gianna goes, I have no words of wisdom. Kera still has a touch of control issues at 4 and it drives me up the wall. Praying for all of you.
GAVE UP WHAT?????? WHY??????
ReplyDeleteHope A is all better, we fought the flu virus last week, just after I got over a wicked 2 week cold.
Just remember, what is hard now with G will pay off when she is faced with people wanting her to do the wrong thing...strong kids make strong adults. However, it has been known to drive the parents up a wall.
