I know God sees.

Today, my girls went to play at their cousins house while I ran a few errands.

My sister offered the girls cupcakes. CHOCOLATE and vanilla cupcakes.

She asked them which they would prefer and Aria hesitated and then said,

"Well, since my mommy is not nearby to ask, and she let me have chocolate milk yesterday, I think I will have the vanilla please."

This is coming from my CHOCOLATE LOVING girl. She will work for chocolate in any form.

In the car, I asked her about it and why she chose vanilla.

Her response blessed me to my core:

"Mommy, I know you don't like us to eat too much chocolate. I know that you weren't there to ask, but I also know that even if Mommy and Daddy aren't there that GOD SEES. I wanted to do the right thing."

God sees.

I wanted to rush out and buy that girl a big ole' chocolate cupcake.
But I refrained.
Knowing that she pleased her momma and her God was treat enough for her.

Oh how I love that sweet, sweet girl!

  4. What a blessing! It is so wonderful to see God working even in the littlest hearts....I'm always amazed when the children have such responses. Definitely shows biblical training you are instilling in them.
