A twin thing.
Adorable smiles.
Holding hands while waiting for dinner.
Transferring bracelets from one hand to another.
It's a twin thing, and it melts my heart.
I'm so thankful they were kept together.
Please join me in praying for this family and for the tough decisions they have.
I cannot imagine being in their place.
What a beautiful gift you have been given, full of smiles, snuggles and giggles. I can't imagine what courage it must have taken to let them go in order to be with a family who can keep them together and help Celia be all she can be. What the birth parents couldn't have known was, what love and care the new family had to share. My prayer is that they find the Lord so that you all can be reunited in eternity! Now that is a picture!
ReplyDeleteI've got another twin story for you...
ReplyDeleteNine years ago, a 4 year old girl in China was adopted by an American family. From the start, through the translator, the little girl told the family that she had a twin sister, but when the family looked into it, they were told that the child was wrong.
As the child grew and learned English, she continued to talk about her sister. One day, the family received a phone call from CCAA explaining that they had made a mistake and that their daughter does have a sister and asked if they'd like to adopt her. The family gave them an emphatic yes!
So, at the age of 13, two twin sister were reunited, only two weeks ago while I was in China. Though I didn't meet them, I know we were at the consulate appoitment together!
