Party at the FARM
We headed to a miniature farm to celebrate the twinny twin twins turning three.
Say "twinny twin twins turn three" 5 times fast.
I dare ya.
And yes, we do call them that.
Well except for the turning three part.
Anyhoo.....
I have never in my entire life seen a more radiant smile.
She lights our world with it daily.
Gianna is ALL ABOUT the farm experience.
The last time we came she was 14 months old, we had been home from China with her for a week, and none of us remember much.
We decided to warm them up to the idea of a REAL horse ride, but trying out the ole' saddle.
Both of them were liking the idea.
The mini goats were really cute.
And hungry.
Luckily, they waited for bread and didn't snack on Gianna's shirt.
Celia LOVED touching all the animals, but she didn't want to look at them while she pet them.
She would reach her arm out, and turn her head away so it didn't wig her out to see what she was really petting.
Works for us.
Sofia spent most of the time at the farm looking like this.
When we gave her a princess crown to wear, she wasn't expecting to trudge through stall after stall of stinky, hungry animals.
Thanks to this little guy, Aria and Gianna will put
"A real, live pony"
on their Christmas list.
Thanks.
Thanks a lot.
"Llama, llama come to Momma."
Dr. Doolittle Gianna could not get enough of the barnyard fun.
Unfortunately, this birthday princess had already
HAD ENOUGH barnyard fun for her entire lifetime.
And this donkey liked to torment her. He followed right behind her everywhere she went.
She would look behind her and shriek.
It was a moment that may come out in therapy when she's an adult.
She HATED that donkey.
Everybody's all smiles, but poor Sofia.
Since Daddy will be buying them a pony for Christmas,
we thought they should ride it for a bit.
Naturals, I tell ya'.
I guess we need to add riding lessons to our budget.
This little guy almost followed us home.
Except he was too lazy for that.
He was smaller than Bogey and liked to be pet.
Maybe our next dog will be a miniature horse instead??
I'm sure the neighbors won't notice.
Ahhh, FINALLY we got Sofia to enjoy a part of the birthday fiasco,
ahem,
Party.
So I guess we need 3 ponies that are as small as dogs.
Great.
Celia's "pet without looking" method.
Love. it.
Is it me, or is Celia looking BIG??
She needs a pony too.
Super.
Make that 4 ponies to-go please.
Maybe they'll throw in the riding hats?
My lovely, lovely girlies.
And the "marrieds" as we are now affectionately calling them.
Marriage agrees with them dont'cha think?
Celia thought it was the BEST 3rd birthday part ever!!
Sofia would like her money back.
Mental note to Mommy:
Four year old party must be divalicious in every way.
