A little souvenier
Left the land of all things magical a tad early because Sofia had a temperature of 102.
Saw the doctor on Saturday, and was told it's a nasty virus going around.
Thanks Mickey.
Celia started the fever on Sunday.
And the cough.
And the hoarse voice.
Operation "Keep Celia hydrated and out of the hospital" began.
Fun stuff.
The dirty laundry had babies on the car ride home.
I am STILL trying to get ahead.
Dontcha just hate it when laundry multiplies??
In other news,
My sweet Celia goes inpatient next week for two days and nights for a battery of tests. I hope it shows NOTHING.
Her bed was denied by insurance, but we got a call today that we may have a family who wants to donate one. We hope we are chosen. It would be a wonderful blessing.
And other news,
Someone sweeter than sugar turns SIX this week. She got to have a friend party this year, and she is not short of friends to invite. Still, she said she'd prefer to have dinner as a family and PRESENTS. She had a very long birthday list this year.
Annnnd, she has another surgery May 2. Darn those 6 months go by fast!
And lastly,
Thank you so much for those of you who have prayed for my brother. He was transferred to a rehab hospital a week ago and is receiving extensive therapies to help him re-learn all that was lost. He is making great strides but his recovery is a long arduous process.
Annnnddd, that's all I got.

Missed seeing you today. Hope that virus doesn't make it to everyone in the family. Great news on your brother. Still praying that things continue to improve. How can Gianna be SIX?! Holy cow, where has the time gone?
ReplyDeleteSooo.. happy to hear about Jimmy. Know it is a long road but he is on the road and our prayers will continue. God has been gracious. It hurts that hospitals are so much a part of our girls lives, BUT- Praise the Lord for great hospitals and great Dr.'s. Hard to believe this is the yr. for 8-6 and 4. Only children get older, right?
ReplyDeleteI think that's enough my wonderful friend. Tell her happy Birthday from me. And I still have a package for you. I think it could have WALKED to you by now. Maybe I need to drive it down sometime soon....
ReplyDeleteThat is a lot going on. Glad to hear that your brother is making positive headway. Stay healthy
