Morn til Night.

We princessed, fairyed, twirled, skipped, giggled and partied it up from open to close.

The parents took few photos (these are borrowed from Ryan) but we survived multiple g-tube feeds discreetly, schlepped all the medical supplies, etc and watched our girls enjoy the magic.

Here is my favorite memory so far: Celia has been saying Mi-EE 3,789 times since we got in the car.

In fact, her Daddy jokingly asked, "Who told her where we are going?!?"

It may or may not have been me.

Oops.

Anyhoo, she could barely stand herself at the Mickey and Minnie meet and greet. I got her out of the stroller and was determined to let her "walk" in with her sisters. (Oh my achin' back!)

Can I just say, as kindly as I can, that Mickey was a HUGE disappointment?!? He pretty much ignored Celia's shrieks of his name, or the fact that she was practically RUNNING to get to him.

But Minnie?

She saw sweet Celia and immediately plopped her costumed self on the floor and patted her lap and motioned for me to give her Celia. She sat on the floor cradled by Minnie and cooed, smiled and I am certain that Mi-EE now means Minnie.

It was the highlight of the trip.

Minnie was in no rush to give her back and sat there enjoying our sweet girl.
(Yes we have photos... On Ryan's camera- I'll get them soon, I promise)

  1. It takes one female to truly appreciate and connect with another. No slams against dads, brothers or grandads but girls just have this connection thing going. Can't wait to see the pictures.
