WEDDING WEEK Part 1

We headed down south to a lovely home on the beach to relax and help get ready for the wedding.
Having a few days with our son was priceless.
It was SO FUN to have my brother and his family there with us to enjoy a few days of calm before the wedding festivities began.
A Daddy and his girl.
Melt. My. Heart.

We really debated whether a pool in the backyard was a good idea. I am SO GLAD we decided to rent a home that had it. It was great fun for all.
Aria and Gianna spent the first few days in floaties and refusing to go under water.
We obviously don't make it to the pool much.
And then their uber-cool brother Yo decided to make games for them to do, and the next thing I know, they are both swimming UNDER WATER like pros.

Or they were swimming away from this lovely guy.
Not sure which.
HA!

Lazy mornings hanging out with their favorite boy cousin was lots of fun.
My four little sweeties.
A sweeter guy cannot be found.
Four girls and the only boy.
He patiently decorated cakes on the iPad.
And wouldn't leave a room if Celia was going to be left alone in it.
I LOVE this boy.
Six months ago, my brother had a fall due to a seizure.
He fell down the stairs and was in a coma for 7 days on life support.
And last week, he sat on the beach and built a sand castle with my girls.
I love him so much and cannot begin to describe the thankfulness in my heart to have him here.

And before we knew it, the bride and her mom were due to arrive.
The girls (and their mommy) were just a tad bit excited....

More soon.
