Child like faith.

As Aria blew out her birthday candle, she closed her eyes and made a heartfelt wish.
Later, she told me she prayed to God for her baby twins to come home quickly.

The Lord answered part of that prayer today.

This morning, we went to be fingerprinted early. Our scheduled date was June 14th. It was iffy whether or not we would be turned away at the door, but we decided to go for it any way.

When we got home, I called the USCIS to let them know we had successfully been printed early. The kind gentleman said we had been assigned an officer, and without prompting from me, put me through to her direct line.

I introduced myself, and she said, " I just happen to be reviewing your file right now."

I told her we had been fingerprinted early and asked her when we would know if we are approved or needed to supply more information (very common to need more info, or specific wording, or to supply evidence- all which can add weeks or even months to your process)

She told me to call back this afternoon and she would give me our status, and if everything looked okay, she could expect to be able to view our fingerprint results in 2-3 days and issue approval.

SOOOOOOOO, Greg called this afternoon and not only is our paperwork PERFECT (Thank you CCAI!!!) but, she said she was able to get our fingerprint results THE SAME DAY they were taken (completely unheard of) so she approved AND mailed out our approval.

On the same day we were printed.

It is truly a miracle and we give glory and honor to Whom it is due for helping us jump through a week's worth of hoops in one.single.day.

Our dossier should be on it's way to China next week!!!

  2. I am so grateful for your friends (sorry I can't remember who it was) who suggested that you try to go early for the fingerprints. By the way the Dr. or whoever, that was sitting with Celia in the last blog was looking at her like he really cared. That was a blessing to me.
