The Royal Wedding

*Edited to add: Blogger FINALLY found this post I did weeks ago.*

Yes, I know it happened weeks ago.
Yes, I am a day late and a dollar short.
Thanks for noticing.

Due to the magic of Tivo, the girls and I didn't have to get up at 4 AM like I did when Diana married Prince What'sHisName. In fact, we took our sweet time about having a girl's night.
We did chose to eat crumpets and drink tea for our little royal watching affair.
We may be late, but we are refined.
So refined, in fact, that we had to have our royal hair done for the occasion.
This lovely little diddy is compliments of Aria's hair salon.
We may be detangling for weeks.
Alas, beauty has it's drawbacks.
Gianna decided that since she knows ALL ABOUT the Princess scene, that she had the perfect dress for the affair. Over PJ's makes it almost as special as Princess Beatrice's lovely hat.

Gianna also felt the need to ask 3, 245 questions during the 3 hour wedding saga:

"Why are there so many people?"
"Why do all the ladies have to wear hats?"
"How do you know these people any way Mommy?"
"Who told you they were getting married?"
"Why are we watching this again?"
"Why are there so many cars driving by?"
"Who is that lady talking about the wedding?"
"Why is the queen old?"
"Why is her husband the prince and not the king?"
"Why is there so much singing?"
"Why is the carpet red?"
"Why are we watching this?"
"Can I have another crumpet?"
"What are crumpets anyway?"

Yeah.... it was.... a fun night for sure. Heh.
I may or may not be deaf, but hey, it's the memory that counts.

Sometimes late is better than early because this lovely post stands all alone today in describing the event. Had we seen it earlier it would have been surrounded by thousands of other lovely (tedious?) wedding reports. So today it stands all alone, capturing the attention that the world's best royal wedding party deserves, a party fit for the real princesses of the world.
