I have a confession to make.

I am feeling a little guilty, and the ONLY way to rid my conscience, is to just get it out there for all twelve of you to read.

Sigh.

This is harder than I thought but here goes....

You who know me well, KNOW I have a very deeply personal relationship with coffee. Some may even say... okay, HAVE SAID that we are, ahem, coffee snobs.

Sadly, 'tis true.

And we are raising our kids to be coffee connoisseurs as well. Now, if we can just get Gianna to stop calling it "Boffee"

We don't drink old coffee (old meaning more than 20 min after brewing), we don't drink pre- ground  canned coffee, and we would NEVER drink instant! Blech!

We do drink organic, we do drink french pressed coffee when available, and since our trip to Italy, we have a new-found love for cappuccinos.

Which all leads to my confession: I am sure you have heard on the news that St@rbucks is closing 600 stores.

Sadly, I think we are partially to blame.

You see, we went there DAILY for about as many years as they have been open.

That was, until we found out we could do it at home and it is MUCH BETTER!

And the end result? Isn't this is the most beautiful cup of homemade goodness you have EVER seen IN YOUR LIFE????
My special thanks to Ryan who was the photographer and willing consumer of this cup o love!

  2. We are going to China in October, want to come?, no... what I wanted to say was that I am going to buy you a cup from China...maybe a Starbuck's cup! I am in total agreement about everything you said about the coffee, but will add that my sister and I agree that the "cup" also helps make the entire coffee experience awesome!
Look forward to catching up soon!
