A room with a view.

Well, here we are.

No, not in Philly- we left there this morning. And went through  Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, and  then Virginia.

And then it happened.

"Ding, Ding" said the car warning us that the tire pressure was decreasing.

Thankfully, we got right off the first exit and into a W@llmart parking lot.

And now,
We are STRANDED in a po-dunk town in southern Virginia.
                        With a flat tire.

The helpful Wally employee called around and then stated:

(and I quote) "Thar ain't no place IN THE ENTIRE COUNTY that carries the size tire you're a needin."

Did I happen to mention WE ARE IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE????

And apparently the entire county in NOWHERE is mostly rolling hills and cow pastures, and not tire stores. Imagine that.

Nice if you are driving through, not-so-nice if you are stranded.

There is a very slight chance they can get a tire for us tomorrow, but more than likely it will be THURSDAY. In Po-dunk, with no car, and the best restaurant is a seedy chain- UGH.

We were even willing to buy four new tires to get us outta here, but there is literally nothing available that fits my car.
IN THE COUNTY.

So we are seriously considering renting a car and driving to another county, ANY OTHER COUNTY, to pick up a 19 inch tire.

We did secure the last room in the local hotel. I am just sure it was, "THE LAST ROOM IN THE COUNTY."
'Cuz that's how things go here in Po-dunk, VA.

Please say a prayer that we get a tire tomorrow....

    However.....
Our Sovereign God is worthy of (all) our confidence....in every situation.
Someday you can remind me of that very fact.

Looking forward to your homecoming :-)
