A day at the Park.
Having adult children, school age kids and babies has it share of challenges. Trying to find things that we all can do as a family is the biggest problem we face. Anytime everyone can be at the same event and everyone is having a great time is a SCORE!
Today, the big kids and their friends were getting together for some flag football. We decided to bundle up all the girls to watch for a while.
Fortunately, Daddy brought a few balls with us.
While the big kids were playing this....
....the little girls were doing this.
The babies?
They were watching, and eating and...
smiling a lot.
Then Daddy got a great idea to get those babies out of the stroller to let them play too.
Sofia was ALL about stealing Gianna's purple ball.
"Hey! Where'd my ball go???"
Well, Miss Celia has a mean steal! She is one quick lil' kicker.
She LOVED being a part of the girls soccer team.
Aria has decided she wants to play soccer on a team this spring. We are proud of our timid girl and can't wait to see how she likes it.
And lastly....
And what's a memory without a picture of my less-than-thrilled children????I got all six of them at home right now, so I am loving every minute we can spend as a family.
Happy New Year to me.
Seriously.
It doesn't get better than this!
It does take cleaver parents to find something for all ages...we have the same problems too. It so nice to see the big smiles on Sofie and ciclia,
ReplyDeleteHi Cristy,
ReplyDeleteI just wanted to let you know that your blog and the smiles and the stories seriously bring joy to me. I live her in Atlanta and we are first time AP's so on ly lunch hour I read several blogs to keep me going while I pull out my hair trying to get the paperwork done and reasearch like crazy to try and prepare for Luci to come home. We have a 1yr old belly button baby and I will admit - my husband is near terrified of trying to watch 2 at one time. If he knew that you and your family are where I go for inspiration I think it might scare him! Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that you and your wonderful family are always in my prayers adn thank you so much for blogging so new AP's like me can make it through the long wait and learn the ropes from a real btdt family. Enjoy having all your kids home for the holdidays!
What a talented team we have here; just two more sets of twins is all that is needed to fill out the team to a full complement of 12. On second thought, maybe we will stick to a flag football team of eight. Whatever The Lord brings is just fine with us, and we love the way He has put this team together. We love you one and all and are very proud of you!
