Cookin' with the Cousins!

One of my favorite things about Christmas is making special memories with my kids.
My sister is in China adopting her 12 year old daughter, and so we got the privilege of adding her two little ones to our cookie decorating party.
Cousins+ Cookies=Christmas Chaos!
What a fun memory we had:):)
I took the divide and conquer approach. First the 3 big girls got to decorate. My sweet niece Aspen is very neat and methodical.
Aria tried to break as many pieces off, accidentally of course, so she could eat while she iced.

Gianna feels the "shake and dump method"has worked well for her in the past. It's not cookie decorating to Gianna unless you can no longer see the cookie underneath.

Next we did the little cousins. The twins and Avalon are just 4 months a part.
I am looking forward to the special friendship they will all have.

Sofia was more interested in trying to lick the sprinkle container than actually decorate.

"Shall I eat the knife or spread it on the cookie? Hmmmm.... decisions, decisions."

Celia is taking this job VERY seriously!

I think Avalon and Gianna have the same technique, don't you?

Celia got the best of BOTH worlds. A lil on the cookie, and a little to sample afterward.
Isn't she DELICIOUS!!!

Now Sofia has gotten the hang of it!

So any guesses on how long it will take until I can't find sugar sprinkles on my floor?

It's funny, because it was really pretty easy to have 3 two year olds, a four year old and 2 six year olds.
And I got to thinking..........

I CAN'T  WAIT FOR GRANDKIDS!!!!
(just like the cousins, you can enjoy them and send 'em back!)

  1. WHAT WONDERFUL PICTURES!!!! Obviously they ALL had a great time. I'm thinking it would be a wise move to buy stock in the cookie sprinkles company. As for the grandchildren, I think you will find - as I did - YOU DON'T REALLY WANT TO GIVE THEM BACK. Can't wait for hugs and kisses.

    ONE MONTH AND 23 DAYS!!!!!
