A little visual.

I decided to start photographing our little crocodile
to show you why the
circles under my eyes look so lovely and dark.

In exhibit A we find:
1)Her doing the splits.
(I'd give it an 8- she slept through it, so she got bonus points.)

2)Her right foot juuusssstttt about to get stuck.

3) Her neck covered in her favorite blanket.
(Her hands can rarely do what she wants them to, but she ALWAYS gets her blanket on her neck- which isn't always a good thing, if you know what I mean. If we take that one out,
she'll use whatever is in the crib, and ONLY her neck is covered.)

4) A pillow pet who hides her tubing underneath it, in hopes that she will not strangle herself.

In exhibit B we see a closer look-please note:

1) The lack of space in her crib.

2) The hole in her right PJ foot for tubing.
(Just in case you were wondering)

3) A very cute sleeping baby with a warm neck.

4) Two little legs and feet that most definitely have fallen asleep.
Pins and needles anyone?

How in the world does she sleep comfortably like this, you ask?
And the answer is, SHE DOESN'T.
So neither do we.

And since this is most definitely not another post about sleep deprivation because I promised I was done with all that blather, I'll leave you with THIS:

I think they *might* be identical, don't you?
HA!
Twinny deliciousness at it's snuggly best!!!

  2. Sweet thing!! It's a season mom! I can't tell you how many times I've repeated that phrase to myself. Ha! Who are we kidding it doesn't really get better- the sleep deprivation- the body just learns to cope at some point. I think you're beautiful black circles or not! Hope Greg had a fantastic birthday he definitely deserves it.

  3. She needs a European sleep sack! Have you seen them? It's what the Halo sleep sacks tried to emulate. They are like a blanket that a child can wear. In Europe, they come is Celia sizes. She can move, but not abnormally so. It might be a good safe option until you get the new bed, and even after you get it.

  4. Not that we are biased or anything - but we happen to think that these are the cutest identical twins in the universe = just saying. And while we are on the subject, Celia's night time acrobatics are most notable but I believe she needs more space, all in favor of a special bed for our girl say AYE.
