Sick, Sick SICK of...
...all of us being sick!
A week ago today, Aria was diagnosed with strep and we have gone downhill since.
I have absolutely no voice, and am drowning in gunk, and I feel dreadful.I stay awake most of the night coughing and listening to all my kiddos cough. The tablespoon of honey and vicks on the feet aren't working for anyone.
The twins seemed to rebound until last night when they were coughing horribly and running a fever again. I decided it was time to take them to the Ped this morning, and while we are waiting to be seen, I noticed that Aria has a rash ALL. OVER. HER. BODY.
I ran up to the front desk and added her as a patient, so it took 2 hours to get everyone seen.
Two hours in a germy Dr's office trying to keep 4 girls from touching anything while slowly drowning in my own fluids. Yay Me!!
And I left my Iphone in the car, so no games for the big girls to play.
Way to go, Mom!
The verdict?
They all have the rash (nice of me not to notice, huh?)- Aria (being Aria) has the rash the worst and it is related to the respiratory virus. Her asthma is acting up from the virus so we need to begin breathing treatments.
Sofia has the virus AND an ear infection.
Gianna has the virus.
And my sweet Celia?
She has the virus, double ear infections, and she ruptured an ear drum. Sniff... I feel HORRIBLE for her.
And terrible that I didn't take her sooner, although her fever started last night, so I couldn't have known she had an infection, but STILL....
So everyone but Gianna is on an antibiotics and we are hoping to kick this virus/infection/gunk so we can get back to our life.
Which used to look like this.....
The twins like to play like this. Weird, I know but also pretty darn cute. Sofia will bring toys under there and play while her sister kicks her in the back. Sisterly love at it's best!
Another family favorite, is walker races. You can see how much Celia loves this game.
Look at all those sweet little feet scraping up my hardwood floors. HA! Oh well...
Another new thing for Celia is the sit-n-spin. She is now strong enough to be on there (with a lil help)
And my all time favorite is when they play hide and seek. They drag Celia by her feet and cover her with pillows to hide her. She giggles under the pillows and it's SO. DARN. CUTE. I need to grab my camera next time.
Looking forward to getting back to normal and putting away the thermometers, kleenex and vicks for awhile.
