Miss Celia's first date with Mr. Fork.
We decided it was time to let Celia try to use a fork for the first time.
Daddy helped her get the hang of the idea.
We then offered her support at her elbow, and encouraged her to get that pasta in her mouth.
She REALLY likes to be a big girl!
Instead of singing for her supper, she had to do therapy for a bite.
Daddy does NOT like her to struggle so he jumped in to help her out.
(Did I mention Daddy got asked fired from coming to PT because she won't work as well?? All she wants is him to hold her. HA! Yeah... sad but true.)
Mommy INSISTS she try to do it herself.
Mean Mommy.
She likes to cheat and have her head meet the fork half way.
"Work with me would ya' Mr. Fork?"
"Umm, Daddy? I'm batting my eyes at you... Help a girl out here?"
Her Knight and Shining Armor to the rescue!
Is she smiling because she liked the fork so much?
OR
Perhaps, just perhaps,
It's because she just realized how tightly she has that Daddy of hers wrapped around her finger?
Hmmmm.......... I'll let you decide.
Super cute!! I'm betting she has Daddy wrapped around her finger ;)

precious. Yes her daddy is tightly wrapped.
ReplyDeleteLittle girls are so good at batting those big beautiful eyes, aren't they?
ReplyDeleteWell, I have been known to fluff pillows at midnight, so helping that sweet little face with a bite is not that bad. Besides, who can resist!
ReplyDeleteNo doubt about it! Daddy is wrapped tight. That's o.k., little girls have a way with their dads. If the eyes don't get him, the smile is sure to.
ReplyDeleteBanned from PT? Dad I think you deserve another chance. Just a little duck tape on the mouth and hands taped behind your back should do the trick.
Good luck, you will need it.
LOL! You're a softie, Daddy! These pictures are very cute and really show how much potential your little Celia really has. Since this was her first attempt with a fork, I think we can forgive Daddy for helping, but there's going to have to be some toughening up so that your little girl can achieve her most.
ReplyDeleteHonestly, I know it is not easy to watch our kids struggle, but the result is very worth it.
Go, Celia, Go!
What an absolutely adorable smile picture!!
