Two Months home for TWO two year olds.

Two months ago two terrified little girls were placed in their Mommy's arms for the first time.

They were fragile.
Emotionally
and
Physically.

In just two short months,  here is a sampling of what they have learned:

That Pj time isn't too scary.

And with good nutrition, therapy and LOVE, holding our head up isn't as hard as it once was.

Sofia learned...
That bath time is FUN!

That everyone gets to try new things, regardless of ability.

And brothers are good snugglers.

That sisters are your best friends.

And you can never say NO to the Yo.

(Not for long at least!)

That Mommy thinks the more girls the merrier.

And Daddy is the most amazing man ever!

That Krispy Kreme can help put 4 lbs on you in 2 months.

And Christmas cookie decorating is a rite of passage.

That some one will always meet you on your level.

And cousins are SUPER fun!

That therapy doesn't always have to be alone.

And most importantly,
that adoption is just ONE DAY in your life.....
But family is FOREVER.

  2. I just read your last two blogs, you are amazing family, and you have such pleasuer and reward with baby steps no matter how small they are, you see them and embrace them. I have been learning that a lot with our daughter who has been with us for 4 months.

A trip of a thousand miles begins with the first step. I can't believe how many steps ya'll have made in the first 2 months. The twins are truly a part of the family, Krispy Kreams, Yo and all. By the way "piggies" are still my favorite.
