Joy comes in the morning
We started our morning at 4:30 AM and without warning, she vomited all over her back brace, the bed, and her special lovies. Bathing her, changing the linens, and cleaning her brace was a hour long event, which was exhausting for both of us.
The Doctor really wanted her up and around, but she would not bear any weight on her legs, so they called for PT to come in and torture, ahem, I mean help her to do what she needs to do.

The " I strongly dislike the therapist" look.
Okay, ignore the really awful looking mommy in this photo( hospital sleeping obviously doesn't agree with me) and focus on the tiny cutie who was following her sister down to her room, where she was promised she could get in bed if she would walk there.
Isn't that the cutest little walker??
Aria is concerned for her sister, having never seen her in pain like this. She crawled in bed with her and grabbed her hand to comfort her. What a precious sister she is.
And there are some therapies of the heart that no doctor can prescribe.... special giggles with your sister will lift your spirits and encourage you to press through the pain.
"A merry heart doeth good like a medicine" Prov 17:22
Sending lots of love from Sicily. And hoping for no more tummy troubles.

Cristy, there are tears in my eyes as I see what your sweet girl is enduring. You are such a strong mommy! God knew the exact mom that Gianna needed to help her through this. And what a great sister.
