An unexpected blessing
We met with the Dr. yesterday morning to get the run down on what to expect for surgery. No new information really, except for the fact that she may only have to be in the back brace for 3 months instead of 6. Yippee!
After he left, the nurse requested another "get out of jail card" and shocked us when she told us we could leave and not come back until tonight at 6PM!!!!
It was *almost* like a vacation.... We had planned to switch hotels, so we did that a day early. We went grocery shopping, at St@rbucks, and even ate lunch out.( Not in line with quarantine orders, but we have been cooped up since January, so we lived dangerously-with bleach wipes, and safety gear!)
We had a nice dinner at the hotel, put the girls to bed, and just got to spend Mommy/Daddy time talking and preparing our hearts for what's coming... We got up this morning and went for a brisk walk... Actually a FREEZING walk- Are we in PA or the ARCTIC?!?
My mom and step-dad get here today to help for a few days with Aria so we can focus on Gianna. We are so thankful for all the help!
It has been a nice calm before the storm..... Thank you Lord!
I am SOO glad that you got the chance to spend one more day away from the hospital! Truly a blessing. I am thinking of and praying for you all that the surgery is without complications, recovery is quick and as painless as possible, and that you will all have the strength you need for what comes with each day. Love you muches! Warm air is coming backto GA so I will soak some up for you...C

We are thinking of you and praying for all of you. I'm glad things have gone smoothly so far and it sounds like the nurses are great. Glad your husband and mom and dad in law are there to help, too. May you know His peace.
