Our brave girl.

Curious George and Gianna reporting to the O.R.

Because she has had an adverse reaction in the past, we decided NOT to give her amnesia meds before they took her from us. The prayers of so many were felt, and she did not cry when they took her from me. She went peacefully to sleep.... Thank you Lord!

There never was a sweeter sight than this precious girl. The Anesthesiologist said she was breathing on her own, moving all her limbs, and calling for me in the operating room. He said her responses were much more than they expected from her, and he was pleased.
So far, we have her pain under control. She is in and out of consciousness but she has popped a few bubbles Daddy blew for her, and even tried to blow bubbles herself.

THANK YOU from the depth of our hearts for all the love, prayers and concern for our sweet girl!

  4. Cristy - I am a friend of your sister, Angela's. I live about an hour from Philly and am here if you need anything at all! Coffee, a break, someone to play with Aria for a little while, whatever. Just call me! I have 3 small children and my heart goes out to you.

I was so happy to hear that Gianna's surgery went well! My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
