Please Pray Today.

Gianna will have surgery around 7:30AM today and will be in surgery for 6-8 hours. We pray that she can be extubated and breathe on her own by the time she reaches the PICU. If all goes well, she will spend 24 hours in the PICU and then move to the floor. We expect to be in the hospital at least 8 days...

Specific requests:
For the Doctor. For skill in separating her ribs and positioning the devices without complications.

Pain control. Each child has a cocktail of meds that works well for them. We pray it won't take long to find the right combo to relieve her pain.

For peace. That her heart will be comforted by mommy's voice in times of distress.

Thank you so much!

  1. You are in our thoughts and prayers every day, but especially strong prayers will be said today. I know sweet Gianna's spirit will hear your voice in her hear when you are away from her. Give Aria an extra kiss today - she is a great big sister and having to learn some life lessons early on. Hugs and Kisses to all.
