A Day in the life part 2
Play with toys on the bed. (again)
Eat Cup of noodles in your room.
Have babies nap.
Have big girls watch a movie.
Try to stay awake, so you will sleep past 4 AM.
Get everyone up, changed, snacked, shoes on, and head back to the park.
Pretend to hopscotch.
Realize that due to the opening ceremonies to the Asian games, your beloved caffeine fix is closed.
Have a good cry.
Pull it together and decide, just for fun, to let the girls push the stroller to see if it gets you MORE or LESS stares.
Place wagers to see who will win.
Reduce yourself to yet another tourist shot.
Go into the only restaurant that appears to be open, even though it is only 4:30 PM.
Find out the staff is having a karoke party to celebrate the Asian Games.
Believe them when they say they are open for business.
Watch the glares from the wait staff when they have to leave their place in the karoke line to take your order.
Worry they might spit in your food.
Pretend you use chopsticks every day.
Surprise everyone when you actually get food in your mouth.
Head to the hotel playroom to play with germ-ridden toys. Smile that lights the room, because you are just glad for a change from the parents bed full of toys.
Lay on "base" and play with toys that are only within reach from said location.
Give Daddy BIG HUGS and call it another day down! Only 9 more sleeps and we are HOME!
Thanks SO much for my China fix this morning :) Much much better blogging with all those great pics of your blessings!! Keep em coming, I am really enjoying your trip (especially since I am not the one there with 4 babies in tow-LOL).
ReplyDeleteLooks like you all are doing great and living the Groundhog Day movie well. Venture out into GZ with Ann if you want some real adventure! Oh and I hear they have a playroom at the Victory and one at the Swan for more variety. Already looking forward to your next posts...
Funny posts! Sounds like things are still going well.
ReplyDeleteMy two favorites....
ReplyDeleteCelia on the green rocking toy. What a precious and beautiful smile. Happiness radiates from her little face.
Sophia, on "base". Angelic contentment!
Thanks for the gorgeous pictures and the morning giggles!

Cristy, loving all the pictures. Have been back to look at them about 39 eleven times! My absolute favorite is Greg getting his enormous hug from that tiny bundle! Precious, precious, precious! Thank you so much for sharing with us.
ReplyDeleteLove, Sue
Cristy,
ReplyDeleteSo sweet!! I love the smiles you are getting from both of your angels. Getting packed up and will be there in a week. Yeah!!!
Love,
Lyn Thomas
My favorite picture in this group is Celia "on base". That is just the sweetest smile. I have a feeling that with the proper nutrition and lots of love that only ya'll know how to give the changes in both girls will be monumental!
