Missing the land of the free, and the home of the brave.

Getting 4 little girls to: A) Look the same direction and B) all be happy at the same time, is a HUGE undertaking. This was the best we could do...
This is what Sofia thinks of Mommy putting her down.

Okay, at least 2 of the 4 are happy. Sofia took a looonnnngggg time to recover from this- ha!
My sweet big girls! They have been such a wonderful blessing the whole time!!
Well, at least ALL of our eyes are closed. After this one, we gave up. At least Sofia is smiling- she got her mama back and she was a happy camper!

The Consulate went great- got to meet a few bloggy friends from RQ there, so that was really fun! It was neat to see all the families being made through the miracle of adoption.

We came home and had dinner at Lucy's (every adoptive family KNOWS Lucy's) It caters to Americans. And we met a family who may have met our son when he was studying in Chengdu last summer. They have lived in China for 12 years. It was a wonderful way to end our day!!

  2. I have eagerly waited to see the pictures from this day. Even though the twins are crying, the pics are still great, capturing the moment, and they made all of us smile. What a beautiful family, what a testimony of the Lord's love.My heart is full of rejoicing.
    Much love to all~

  3. Gorgeous girls!! And of course I love the fact of you "keeping it real" on your trip. Alot of folks think the trip to China is a luxury vacation-not so much ;)

You will be home soon to finally sleep in your own bed and enjoy the comforts of home (even if you do still have 4 littles in your bed). I hope you guys have a safe trip to HG.
