I flew over the Arctic Circle Today!!!

What did you do??

We are safely in Hong Kong and had a very uneventful flight - if 16 hours on an airplane is EVER uneventful!

We flew up and over so we crossed Alaska, the Arctic circle, and came down over Russia.

Hong Kong is beautiful, the people are friendly and helpful, and the city is very clean.

We got to our hotel room and showered and crashed- it is not easy to sleep sitting up, with a flopping fish next to you (Gianna)

We all slept for about 4.5 hours and woke up at 3 AM ready for the day. It took some time to rummage through all our bags to locate stuff (the downside to packing in August) and then we had oatmeal and coffee with the girls at 4AM. We are now ready to take the train to Guangzhou. It is a 40 min taxi ride and we have to be there a few hours early, so we are getting aquick bite in the Executive Lounge, and we are OFF.

It is very surreal that we only have ONE SLEEP until we get the twins. We have A LOT to do when we get there-Unpack so things are easily accessible, go to the Care Four( Walmart type store) for baby supplies, etc and get a good night sleep for the last time- HA!

We LOVE being here, we LOVE the country and the people, and we cannot wait for those twins to begin their forever after..

Please pray for their little hearts and for a peaceful transition. We will update when we can after we get them, as I KNOW you want to see pictures.

Much LOVE to ALL!!

  3. They have Carrefour in China? Holy cow, I used to shop there all the time in Italy, if it is the same store chain.
What did I do? Froze my toes at a band competition :) Our boy's band came in 7th in the state for his 'class'.

  7. Just discovered, you are 6 hrs from us, ahead that is. So according to my calculations, you SHOULD be in you last sleep until you get your twins. I am anxious to see the girls reaction to each other. When you get them, we will be having breakfast (well I will, Dad will be at work). We will be thinking of you all, every step of the way. Love you
